God can use anyone who’s dependent on Him since the responsibility for the work is His- He just wants our availability.
Anne Graham Lotz
You start a new project or you have an idea for a great activity. You plan every little detail.
You are sure it is going to be a big hit but unfortunately it is a big disaster instead.
What happened? Why did you fail? What went wrong?
God gives us certain responsibilitites. I believe that we all have our jobs/ministries. He does not expect us to do everything alone.Sometimes in our genuine desire to please God we do things that were meant for others to do. God loves the fact that we want to serve Him in as many ways as we can. Think of a father whose child keeps offering to fix things around the house or attempts some chore that he is not ready for or perhaps the child will try to do something he/she just really isn’t good at. (Admit it we are not good at everything.)
When we try to do things without consulting God even if our intentions are good, we fail because we are going according to our plans and not His.
How can we know what we are good at and what we are supposed to be doing or what jobs/ministry we should begin?
The quote above tells us that God will use those who are dependent on Him. Dependent on His guidance, direction and plans. The responsibility in delegation belongs to God. He just wants our availability. Are you ready to say to God “Here I am, send me.”
Are you ready to do whatever He sends you to do no matter how humbling or prestigious it may be?
Trust God. He is the Master Creator. The Grand Architect and Ultimate Organizer. He knows who to send and where to send them. Just be available. God chooses what you should say yes to... and what you should decline as a job/responsibilty. God gives ministries, not men.
Seek God. Be available. Be still. Be Ready and see what great things can happen!
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from YOU, and of YOUR own we have given You.”
1 Chronicles 29:14
