It is so nice to be able to spend a day with your family in Christ. A day that isn't a church day or a church function just a day with brothers and/or sisters in Christ.
Today I spent some of my day with Jessica and Idalia. It was so much fun.Oh ,let me not forget Marie who popped out of the back seat suddenly to scare the pastora. Good one, Marie.
We had pedicures and went to lunch.
Thanks Jessie for the treat. I got you next time.
All this got me to thinking that maybe we are a little too restrictive with our church family. We don't spend enough time outside of the temple with our siblings in the Lord. Why?
Do we not think that they are worthy of our "down" time. Do we think that maybe we will let our guard down and our true colors will come out, if you are right with God you wouldn't have to worry about that besides your true colors should be on display always inside and outside of the church. All the time.
Check this out. You and I (the Family of Christ) will be spending an eternity together so you might as well get used to each other now.
During our lunch we talked about the good things that God has done in our lives.
Lowering the cost of something so it is more affordable, repairing broken relationships , opening our eyes to see His will.
yup! Quesadillas and Christ, Pizza and praise, kids meals and kindness and some Pepsi's make for good fellowshipping outside of the church.
I think everyone should start looking at each other as a family inside AND outside of church maybe then the reality of a family in Christ will set in.
I praise God for all things
I love all of you
God Bless you
I am looking forward to hearing about future family outings.
Enjoy each other!

God Bless everyone,

I'm sorry that I have not addressed anyone lately in regards to Worship.  Of course it has been in my heart for us to get together and continue to pray for our ministry and responsability before the Lord.  Many of us have been on vacation or ill and have not been together as one for a while but I would like to seperate Friday August 12.  That day we can all pray together, talk, bring any ideas or comments, or whatever is in your heart.  Let me know if this is okay with you.

I know that there are many people that intercede for us.  Yesterday I was approached by someone who stated that they get so blessed when we allow the Lord to minister through us.  This person said that they feel such an ease in the Lord when they join in worship with us and that each one of us has such a special purpose before the Lord.  This person also said that even though they worhip, they see that many people do not appreciate what the Holy Spirit is trying to do in church and it saddens them.  The Lord has separated us for this time.  What's to become of us in the future I do not know.  What I do know is that we have to live our lives in a daily devotional before the Lord so that God's love can be manifested through us.  Whether our purpose is in worship, preaching, playing an instrument, translating, or working the soundboard, it is all very important before the Lord.  As always let's continue to pray for each other and for our beloved church.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made
the Lord his hope and confidence.
