Today I spent some of my day with Jessica and Idalia. It was so much fun.Oh ,let me not forget Marie who popped out of the back seat suddenly to scare the pastora. Good one, Marie.
We had pedicures and went to lunch.
Thanks Jessie for the treat. I got you next time.
All this got me to thinking that maybe we are a little too restrictive with our church family. We don't spend enough time outside of the temple with our siblings in the Lord. Why?
Do we not think that they are worthy of our "down" time. Do we think that maybe we will let our guard down and our true colors will come out, if you are right with God you wouldn't have to worry about that besides your true colors should be on display always inside and outside of the church. All the time.
Check this out. You and I (the Family of Christ) will be spending an eternity together so you might as well get used to each other now.
During our lunch we talked about the good things that God has done in our lives.
Lowering the cost of something so it is more affordable, repairing broken relationships , opening our eyes to see His will.
yup! Quesadillas and Christ, Pizza and praise, kids meals and kindness and some Pepsi's make for good fellowshipping outside of the church.
I think everyone should start looking at each other as a family inside AND outside of church maybe then the reality of a family in Christ will set in.
I praise God for all things
I love all of you
God Bless you
I am looking forward to hearing about future family outings.
Enjoy each other!

Just wanted to share my opinion with the posting "A day with family". It's so beautiful to know that the Pastora has a heart so sensitive to the Lord. It is not all churches that have a Pastora so loving and so kind to say, "Let me put my plans to the side and spend some time with some girls." That is having a heart of service. That even though you really don't want to do what they want to do you do it anyway just to make them happy or just to spend some quality time. It's not only talking the talk but living it. And yes, we should spend more time with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Relationships are so important. Sometimes we work so hard in maintaining a relationship with our boyfriend or girlfriend, or husband and wife, that we forget to put the same effort in our brother and sister in Christ relationship. Hope that we can follow the Pastora's example and be a little less restrictive with our church family.
